We prepare RICS/SCSI Red Book Valuation reports for the majority of lending institutions, Approved Housing Bodies, City and County Councils, The Housing Agency, private companies, solicitors, accountants and private clients.
Our Professional valuation team of five Chartered Surveyors all of whom are also RICS Registered Valuers provide independent and practical advice on all sectors of the property market. Our expertise extends to commercial valuations, Residential Valuations, (link to residential page*), Acquisitions and disposal, probate valuations, rent and rates reviews.
Our valuations are prepared for a variety of purposes including funding, accounting, taxation and legal disputes.
Consultancy – We can provide independent professional advice to clients on all aspects of valuation, pre-purchases and structural reports link to that section on property purchase for both Residential (link to residential page*) and Commercial (link to commercial page*) properties.
Our valuations are completed in compliance in accordance with the RICS Valuation Professional Standards Global Edition 2020 and the International Valuations Standards (IVS). Thorntons Chartered Surveyors are a regulated firm under the RICS Registered Valuer Scheme.
